The decision to adopt
biological agriculture

Was prompted by passion and a philosophy of life. A way of living in harmony with the land, giving priority to the environment before profit. The Boriassi Biological Estate was the first wine-making firm in the Province of Massa Carrara to obtain biological certification of its grapes. Because, according to the Boriassi family, offering top quality products also means caring for the land and its health, using all the raw materials available in the territory in a natural manner and according to ancient usage. For this reason, the vines are still tied and pruned by hand, as in the past, without using herbicides or chemical products in any phase of the process.
